Wilson Housing Alliance operates a structured, evidence-informed, two-phase recovery residence designed to support men in early recovery as they rebuild their lives through accountability, education, and community reintegration.

This isn't just housing. It's a complete pathway with mandatory workforce training, strategic community partnerships, peer mentoring, and technology-enhanced accountability to ensure every resident has the support and structure they need for lasting success.

Phase 1

Initial residency ~3 months

Residents stabilize, rebuild routines, and complete mandatory workforce readiness before earning additional freedoms.

Foundation building

  • Integration into a safe, structured recovery environment
  • Physical and emotional stabilization
  • Momentum for sobriety and personal responsibility
  • Connection to outpatient treatment when clinically indicated
  • Enhanced accountability measures and intensive staff support

  • 114-page workbook with guided practical assignments

  • Resume, cover letter, and interview preparation

Phase 2 requirement: complete the course and coaching session.

Phase 1 goal: stabilize, assess readiness, and build foundational employment skills that support long-term independence and reduce relapse risk.
Phase 2

Full residency Ongoing support

After Phase 1, residents step into leadership roles, earn more independence, and continue building long-term stability.

Increased independence

  • Greater autonomy with individualized program support
  • Approved overnight passes for family reunification
  • Supervised visitation to rebuild critical relationships
  • Permission for personal vehicle ownership when appropriate
  • Ongoing staff oversight and mentorship

Leadership development

  • Mentor newer Phase 1 residents
  • Model healthy communication and accountability
  • Support community standards across the house
  • Participate in peer mentoring curriculum (in development)
  • Grow a culture of mutual aid and long-term success
Phase 2 focus: maintain employment or education, expand life skills, and grow leadership that strengthens the entire recovery community.

Our oversight tools support resident safety, track progress, and deliver transparency without sacrificing dignity or connection.

Real-time monitoring

Face recognition time tracking ensures curfew compliance and resident safety.

Milestone tracking

Automated celebration of sobriety milestones and positive achievements.

What we expect from residents

All phases

  • Maintain continuous sobriety (MAT welcome)
  • Participate fully in recovery-based activities
  • Live cooperatively within the house
  • Share household responsibilities and facility upkeep
  • Attend weekly community meetings
  • Comply with house rules and curfew requirements
