Our story
Built by brothers who understand recovery
Wilson Housing Alliance formed because lived experience showed us what real recovery housing requires.
Wilson Housing Alliance didn't emerge from a boardroom or a grant proposal. It was born from two brothers who understand recovery, service, and second chances from the ground up.
Seth Wilson spent 15 years as a firefighter, responding to crises, supporting people in their darkest moments, and seeing the impact of addiction on families. He now brings that same commitment to providing stable, structured housing for men rebuilding their lives.
Matt Wilson knows the recovery journey from the inside. Eleven years ago, he was in active addiction, facing the same uncertainty many residents experience. His hard-won sobriety shaped our belief that people need structure, accountability, purpose, and unwavering support.
Together, they recognized a gap in the continuum of care. Men leaving treatment programs or experiencing homelessness need more than a roof. They need a pathway with accountability, meaningful connections, and people who refuse to give up on anyone's potential.
Individual-centred. Evidence-based. Innovation-driven.
We asked what recovery housing would look like if it was rebuilt today, and then we started building it.
Our mission
Provide men in early recovery with structured, supportive housing that fosters stability and personal growth while empowering them to transition to independent living through accountability, education, and community reintegration.
Our vision
Build a network of recovery residences that scales with community need, buying, renovating, and filling homes with men who deserve a real second chance.
What sets us apart
Individual-centred care
Personalized support with structure and accountability ensures each resident moves forward at a pace that builds confidence.
Data-led programs
We track progress, measure outcomes, and continuously improve the model based on what works, not guesswork.
Modern fundraising & innovation
From transparency reporting to new community partnerships, we’re building sustainable funding that keeps rent affordable.
Our commitment
Wilson Housing Alliance is new, but our commitment runs deep. We're not here to run a single house. We're here to build a network of recovery residences that scale with community need, buying, renovating, and filling homes with men who deserve a second chance.
This is personal. This is our life's work. And we're just getting started.
