Why the first 90 days
Getting help takes courage. Staying well takes a place to land.
Most people who complete residential treatment walk out with a referral to outpatient care, no money, no home, and a job to find, all at once, on day one. It is where most people fall off. The WHA Scholarship covers the housing so everything else can get built.
A bed and a key
Your gift covers 90 days of housing in a structured, sober home the day someone completes treatment. No deposit, no first-and-last, no waitlist while they lose momentum.
Room to keep healing
With rent handled, they can enroll in outpatient treatment and actually show up for it, while learning the rhythm of sober living: curfew, house meetings, accountability, community.
A path to paying their own way
We come alongside them with resume building, mock interviews, and introductions to second-chance employers. By day 90 the goal is simple: a job, a plan, and a person who can carry their own rent.

Where does my donation actually go?
Every dollar you give goes to the WHA Scholarship Fund, which pays for scholarship beds. Our day-to-day operating costs are covered by program revenue, so donations are never used to keep the lights on. They put people in beds.
Is my gift tax-deductible?
Yes. Wilson Housing Alliance is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN 33-3177283), so your donation is tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. Enter your name and mailing address at checkout and a donation receipt will be sent to you for your records.
Can I sponsor a full scholarship, give by check, or partner with WHA?
